On July 30-31, 2024, the "Offshore Oil and Gas Advanced Technology and Equipment Exchange Conference" was held in Suzhou. The meeting was sponsored by China National Petroleum Association and CNOOC Engineering and Equipment Department, and hosted by COSL. 80 leaders and experts from the relevant departments of CNOOC Group headquarters and 20 units of affiliated enterprises and 85 representatives from 36 equipment manufacturing enterprises attended the meeting. Zou Lianyang, chief expert and director of Science and Technology Department of China Stone Association, and She Zhihong, senior director of Exhibition Department, attended the meeting.

This meeting has been highly valued by the relevant departments of CNOOC Group headquarters and affiliated enterprises, which is the key to CNOOC's continuous building of a major power and achieving fruitful results, and is a huge driving force for continuous scientific and technological innovation of oil and gas equipment manufacturing enterprises. The meeting received a positive response from the participating equipment R & D and manufacturing enterprises, and the participating enterprises introduced advanced technologies, products and services, showing the strength and confidence to help the development of offshore oil and gas and realize the localization of substitution.

This conference is a demonstration of the innovation achievements and innovative development of advanced technology and equipment for offshore oil and gas, and it is a new beginning for China National Petroleum Association to join hands with CNOOC Group and equipment manufacturing enterprises to jointly promote the sustainable and high-quality development of advanced technology and equipment for offshore oil and gas in China.
